Its all about the LIPS !!

With the cold weather upon us are lips can get dry.  What better time to start using this little pot of magic........

LOVE LOVE LOVE this product... my lips were dry from the cold weather and all the time we spend indoors lately with the bad weather :-(.  I started using this over a week ago and the difference in my lips are just brilliant.  When you put it on first you will get a tingling sensation which feels a bit weird but in a way you know its working.  My lips felt softer, fuller and looked much better.

The Bee Venom is used to fool the lip area into thinking it had been lightly stung.

A meeting with our very own Galway Girl Katherine Gannon before she jets off to represent Ireland in the World Super Model Pagent in Figi and star in a TV show called The Fashion Hero in Cancun.  

Yes a very busy Lady!

As we sit down for our morning cup of tea, i notice Katherine is having a Little Pea Juice.  I did a BLOG on these a few weeks ago on how good these are and she has been using these for quite a while too.  She just uses them with her everyday routine.  A great way to keep healthy on the go.

So Katherine's first port of call is Cancun in Mexico for The Fashion Hero (check out www.thefashionhero.com).   A show that is about changing the industries standards on Models that not everyone has to be a size 8 or 6ft tall.  It will be aired over in America so unfortunately we wont be able to watch it here.  She was picked from 6000 girls and was previously Miss Galaxy 2012/13.  After a short trip back to Ireland she will take on her second leg of journey to Figi to represent Ireland in the World Super Model Pageant and this will be aired on Go Indi Tv (check out www.worldsupermodelpageant.com).

So with exciting times ahead how does a Super Model prepare herself for such a busy time.  Of course Katherine's first comment was to eat healthy and to look after your skin. She uses Dermalogica products and always after washing her face she will pat it dry with cotton wool rather than dry it in a towel.  Her make up favorites are Benefit Hello Flawless Foundation and Powder which i have to say i use myself and love it and also uses the Estee Lauder Blush Pallet and has recently discovered Banana Power that sets foundation (i will have to go and check this out).  For her Tan she love Be Bold Tan.

Benefits of using Rose Water

I will then spray my face with this and cleanse with cotton wool pads.  Or when in the summer when my skin feels dry i will just use it as a face mist and leave it moisturize my skin.

Hooray Ladies look whats finally available on our shores!

For those of you that haven't used these before, these are just simply amazing !!  There are two small strips that you put one on the your top teeth and one on your bottom teeth (they are not uncomfortable like other teeth whitening products) and leave them on while watching tv or having your shower as i do and then just take them off and rinse your teeth out with some cold water.  The results are instant!

The Miracle Cream

Ok so this does exactly what it says on the TIN !! 

Miracle Manuka and thats just what it is.  As i mentioned before i have always suffered with problematic skin :-(  ... Turloughmore Womans Group Fashion Show 3rd October 2014

Doing the Make-up and some Styling back stage was all go.  Great clothes on show from the local boutiques.

This is Valarie and her beautiful daughter wearing Captain Torture Clothing Range (which by the way do great clothing parties that you can host in your own home) and a beautiful hat made my neighbours here in Knockdoe, Claregalway call Crevation Headpieces, beautifully made and there other headpieces were just outstanding!!

Love it Boutique situated in Tuam had some wonderful dresses and i was delighted to accessorise this dress with one of my own Aingeal Jewels Headpieces.

I was very busy with the Make up on the night but was great fun!  Unfortunately didn't get to meet Pippa O Connor she had left when i was just finished but managed to get a glimpse of her leaving she looked effortless in a black and white outfit.

This lady with Pippa won best accessories on the night.

Lots of great prizes and a great night had by all.  Well done to the Organisers Turloughmore Womens Group and all the Hair / Make-up / Boutiques / Headpieces / Shoe Shops and Local Models that took part.  It was a credit to everyone involved xoxo

GOSH cosmetics are searching the country for our next GOSHGirl, her face will be used on our ad campaign countrywide next year. Our #GOSHGirl2015 will see her face on posters in pharmacies nationwide, in glossy magazines, on beauty blogs and on our website www.GOSH.ie
This competition is open to girls who will be living in Ireland for the duration of 2015.
The winner will receive a year’s supply of GOSH make up and GOSH makeup brushes
A one year modeling contract with Assets Model Agency
A studio photo shoot, with professional photographer, makeup artist and hair stylist
Images will then be sent to Copenhagen to GOSH cosmetics head quarters where our top designers will create our 2015 ad campaign using our #GOSHgirl2015 found here in Ireland. 

Terms and conditions:
Girl must be 18 years or over and be living in Ireland for the duration of 2015.
Winner must be available for modeling jobs she may get throughout the year through Assets Model Agency.

So im halfway through my Dressmaking course i started with SewEasy Galway and after Week 3 .... look at all the things we have made !!

I just love it ... a great course with a great teacher.  Sewing machines are supplied but you can bring your own too and she supplies all the materials for your projects!  Spaces fill up fast on her courses so if you fancy it get booking... Contact: 086 154 6712.

I think ill never get my own sewing machine and get making curtains/tablecloths and clothes (yes ill give it a go anyways just for me for fun ... why not!)
