What a great morning in Charlie Byrne's Bookshop for their Saturday morning Storytime and the launch of Oisin the Brave - Robot Island the second book in the series.  I have blogged before about the 1st book and how much my daughter loved it and this book didnt disappoint.  Beautifully illustrated and great for capturing the imagination in children.

The Authors themselves husband and wife team Derek & Michelle read the book with great excitement as all the kids sat happily to listen to Robot Island. Beautiful cupcakes and treats where there for the kids and big kids alike (me)....

With a great price point at €7.99 its available from Charlie Byrne's Bookstore, Galway and online at www.eirekids.com.  A great Stocking Filler for Kids this Christmas.

It was lovely to see the Mayor of Galway Donal Lyons and Senator Hildegarde Naughton take time from there busy schedules to support Michelle & Derek on there Book Launch and i wish them all the best.

Charlie Byrne's Bookstore for those of you who havent been there yet quite simply you have too!  Such a beautiful bookshop and what bookshops should be.  I look forward a Saturday morning to get my take out Coffee and stroll around it and discover all the books they have.  Such a great selection in all areas   Would highly recommend for a Saturday morning to bring your kids to the Story Time or just take a stroll through and discover what other treasures they have in there.
